We had our club tournament out of Seminole Lodge this past Saturday. Once again fishing was great at Seminole. Non-boater, Richard Rogers won it with almost 20 lbs, fishing out of the back of Mike McClenahagn's boat. I think while Mike was looking for beds Richard was wacking em' just casting around. It's good to see non-boaters win. Unless you're the boater in that particular boat. 2nd place and getting his biggest stringer of his life was Dave Fischer with 17.11 lbs and I took 3rd with 17.09 lbs and lunker with a 7.15 pounder and had another big one get away. But I'm having fun, so far this year with 3 over 7 pounds. All mine were caught on Senko's because that's all I threw, all day. I probably caught over a dozen keepers.
Heading out Thursday morning for the Florida Bass Federation State Qualifier which is Saturday and Sunday. Hope they are still biting.
