Fished the Docie with Allen Duke, ended up with 9.8 lbs, not bad but not good enough for a check. We went up river and caught plenty and Horny Toads and Flippin. Allen had one big one he could not get out of the Elephant Ears which would have helped, but that's fishing. A few days before Allen said there were plenty of 3 and 4 pounders where we caught our 1 and 2 pounders, but once again, that's fishing. Sure was good to see some good weights for once coming out of the river system. Congrats to Wayne and Sean Creel for the win with over 20 pounds (seven fish limit). And another great turn-out with almost 70 boats.
