Lately I've been paying close attention to the astro tables while fishing deer point. Sunday was suposed to be one of the worst days of the month (acording to the astro tables in BMM) but it turned out to be my best outing of the summer so far. From 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM me and my partner caught 16 fish all but 5 were keepers and 2 were better than 3lbs. All were caught in relatively shallow, clear water with little to no cover at all, but after 10 the fish must have moved off to the deeper water because of the heat. Early morning and late afternoon has been great. What is everyone's take on the astro table issue?

Sometimes I will see what it say's just to see how accurate it is. That way when I don't catch anything I can say, "it's not my fault, the astro tables said they were not biting". But it really doesn't matter because when we decide to go fishing were going no matter what it says.

PS: hope the one's you caught are still sore for tonight.
