whats everyones take on props ? as far as which one gets the best mpg , top end , holeshot . I am running an 06 stratos 285 w/ 150 vmax , 24p 4 blade powertech 6" jp 4" below pad . Top end 62mph awsome holeshot . If I try i could turn 5800 rpm without blowing out . my dislikes are mpg, and falling off pad in curves . i may be expecting to much or may need to adjust my setup .......any advice?

I really don't know a lot about all the differances. I have never ran a 4 blade. But when I changed from a 23 p on my Ranger to a 25 p I gained 3 mph with no change in the hole shot, and less rpm's. 62 mph does not sound bad at all with a 150. What are other people with the same boat/motor running? Also every boat I have had (except the Ranger) has fallen off the pad going around curves. 150 Vmax (carb) will never get good mpg. You might check with http://bassboatcentral.com/ go to there BBC Boards to the Stratos page and ask the question. There should be a lot of guy's there who have your same boat/motor and can answer you're question from experience. Let us know what they say.
