Help! My cap has pulled away from my transom. The transom was rebuilt a couple of years ago and it seems to be in good shape. Any suggestion on how to fill the gap and keep the transom from flexing upon take off? Would like to be able to do this myself as the repair work would cost more than the boat 1988 model.

Wished I could help you Jim, don't know nothing about it. But maybe someone here does.
