Fished this entire weekend at Talquin had around 20 bass in around 5 hours the first day. The second day about 12 in the same amount of time. All were keepers couldnt even find any dinks anywhere. I dont understand how to drive that lake though. The stumps are sometime in 30 feet of water and are just visible.Any tips? Or do people just drive where they dont see any stumps?

That's good fishin! Yea, everytime I go to Talquin I just suck it in and go. That's pretty much what you do, just miss what you see. There are certainly better areas of the lake to run than others. And when you get above Williams Landing you better know exactly where you're going. What was the pattern? Shallow or deep?
Well during the rain the topwater bite was defintly on in the main lake. When the rain would stop so would the topwater bite and we went to flipping creature type baits in docks. Actually caught a couple males that were peeing like they were still on the bed. Which surprised me but when I looked at the water temperature low 70's, it was defintly not outta the question.
