Welp, went out yesterday afternoon and finally caught some bass. Lots of bites on red flake lizards in the grass flats. Finally a pattern for me! Confidence is going up at Deer Point.

I fished a couple of hours this morning in the rain. The bite was on.
Caught 12 bass in that short time and at one point caught 4 bass on
4 consecutive casts. All on Bang-O-Lure.

They sure are schoolin. Saturday in the Team Trail Tournament I saw a couple of bass that looked to be chasing minnows a good ways off shore and took my rattle trap and in 5 cast had a limit. That happened twice and both times I probably caught 8 or 10 keepers each time in almost as many cast. There were a couple of boats watching me but they respected my area and just watched. It was FUN!
